What Are Cold Room Wall Type Evaporators?
Cold room wall type evaporators are specialized cooling units designed to regulate and maintain precise temperature levels within cold storage environments. These evaporators are integral to the refrigeration system, responsible for absorbing heat from the cold room and ensuring a consistent and homogeneous cooling effect. Tunel Group’s wall type evaporators cater to various capacity ranges, making them suitable for a wide array of applications, from small walk-in chillers to expansive industrial cold rooms.

Cold room wall type evaporators are equipped with high-performance coils and fans to ensure efficient heat exchange and uniform temperature distribution:
- Coils: Made with staggered copper pipes, 1/2” diameter, and a wall thickness of 0.35 mm. Aluminum fins with wavy surfaces and varying fin spacings (4-6-8-10-12 mm) enhance ventilation efficiency and heat exchange.
- Fans: Available in multiple sizes (Ø250 mm, Ø300 mm, Ø350 mm, Ø400 mm, Ø450 mm, Ø500 mm, Ø630 mm, Ø800 mm) to accommodate different cooling capacities and room sizes. Optional fan model changes can be applied to meet specific project requirements.
